Safety Message: Emergency Operation Plan changes and training implementation

Since January, the Emergency Management Work Group, Senior Leadership and the Safety and Environment of Care Committee have been diligently working to revise YKHC’s Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) to ensure that the organization is prepared for any type of emergency or disaster.

Beginning July 25, the revised EOP will be implemented across the organization and training will begin being assigned in Health Stream to all staff. During August, we will begin focusing on the EOP changes and what you can do during an emergency, such as, a fire, evacuation, active shooter, to support an effective response. Thank you for your engagement in helping YKHC become disaster resilient.
