Congratulations to YKHC-sponsored students Darian Erik, Mary Chimiugak, and Mikayla Kassaiuli  on completing the first year of the Alaska Dental Therapy Education Program (ADTEP). The transition from first year to second year includes a white coat ceremony that symbolizes professionalism, caring and trust as they begin to see more patients as part of their training. ADTEP has partnered with YKHC and the transitioned students will see patients in our dental clinic in Bethel alongside the rest of our staff. 

We are looking forward to having them here and are grateful for the additional access to care they will provide for our patients.
