YKHC moving towards multi-factor authentication (MFA)

YKHC is moving forward with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to sign into IT Equipment, Kronos, Zoom and other cloud-based applications.  At this time, Senior Leadership, the Finance division, and managers across the corporation have successfully converted to MFA use. Thursday, March 31, at 2 p.m., IT will be adding providers to this process.

MFA users can expect network logins to prompt for a second form of authentication.

  1. If signing in using your username and password, Imprivata will push an approval request to the Imprivata ID app on your smartphone. Simply click the Approve button to complete your login.
  2. If you swipe your badge to login using a Wave ID badge scanner, Imprivata will request your PIN as a second form of authentication. Type in your PIN to complete your login.

For providers using EPCS Authentication, the MFA login experience should be very similar.

Remaining users throughout the rest of the corporation can expect to be converted to MFA use in the near future.
