As a healthcare provider, YKHC encourages all employees to get the COVID-19 vaccine. 

Please be advised that all employees (part-time/non-benefited and full-time) will receive regular pay if they get vaccinated during working hours. In other words, employees are not required to clock out and back in to get vaccinated at a YKHC facility during working hours.  

In addition, all employees are eligible to take reasonable paid time off (PTO) to address any side effect experienced following vaccination. Employees must use accrued PTO for this leave, if available. Employees without sufficient accrued PTO are eligible to receive up to eight (8) hours of complimentary PTO per shot to cover any shortfall.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the HR Department at 543-6060.
