Community Health Aide Program (CHAP) debriefing session

CHAP Field Supervision is excited to announce the start of the CHAP Debriefing Session, designed to provide a safe space for sharing experiences, reflection, coping skills, and finding support within our Health Aide Family. This session is open to all community health aides and office assistants. Participation is entirely voluntary and will be limited to health aides and office assistants.

Your well-being is our priority, and we are happy to present this as a new resource to the department.

We understand that discussing trauma can be challenging, but it is a crucial step towards healing and resilience. We hope that these sessions will provide you with the support and tools you need to maintain emotional and behavioral balance during your career as a health aide and office assistant.

Your courage in attending this session is deeply appreciated, and your confidentiality will be respected throughout. Together, we can navigate these difficult experiences and emerge stronger as a community.

A Zoom invite will be sent out by Amber Chung, YKHC social worker, to all CHAP Department Health Aides and Office Assistants. The first meeting is set for October 5 from 3 p.m. to 4 pm.
