On October 19 and 20, Linda Davis, CHP and Shara Davis, CHP, were honored at the Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) 2022 Conference for achieving a 98% rate of COVID-19 vaccinations in their community of Mekoryuk during the pandemic. Their tireless efforts to educate the community and to promote vaccination resulted in a healthier population, preventing serious illness and hospitalizations from COVID-19.

Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors at YKHC joined in the award ceremonies to congratulate and support Linda and Shara on this accomplishment. Shara honored her fellow CHA’s throughout the YK Delta in her thank you speech, giving credit to all of their work during the pandemic as well.
