Dolly was raised in Bethel. Her parents are Sam and Carrie Herman, originally from Mekoryuk, a village located on Nunivak Island.

Dolly started working for YK in 2005 as a scheduler for OR. “I have been privileged to have the opportunity to work in various departments within YKHC. FIT, Payroll, Behavioral Health as the Finance and Compliance officer,” Dolly said. “Most recently, I worked as a Finance Administrator for the Hospital. It’s been amazing to see all the changes YKHC has provided throughout the years for our People.  I look forward to learning and continuing to serve YKHC and our People.”

Dolly is proudly raising three children in Bethel. Her oldest daughter recently received her degree in Nursing and is currently working for YKHC as a RN. Dolly enjoys subsistence, traveling and supporting our LKSD students (especially our Bethel Warriors)!
