This week’s safety message is a friendly reminder about the required “Emergency & Disaster Response Training” series.
Module one of the Emergency & Disaster Response Training series will be available in Health Stream beginning on Monday, July 25th. Module 1 will provide the fundamentals of an effective emergency response, including the following components:
- Emergency Operations Plan (EOP): Purpose, structure, navigation and implementation.
- Communicating during an emergency: Capabilities, Primary & Back-up methods
- Emergency notifications:Receiving and sending emergency notifications, Plain Language Announcements
