On Thursday, August 4, there be a schedule four-hour downtime for all Cerner applications. This event is Phase II of the Oracle 19c database upgrade and will take place at 11 p.m. and will carry over to Friday, August 5, until 3 a.m. This is a required downtime, so the EHR will be completely down for that four-hour period.

Departments will need to refer to their down-time procedures and department managers for any clinical documentation needs during the down-time. The Downtime MAR’s for LTC and Inpatient will be scheduled to print prior to the event.
