Rebecca Farr is YKHC’s new Director of Human Resources.

Rebecca, originally from Missouri, comes to us by way of the rugged outback of Oregon and the wilderness of Montana where she served as an HR Director in the healthcare industry for a number of years. She has a passion for and history of serving indigenous communities, both through business advising, business plan writing, and college instruction along with HR leadership. She thoroughly enjoys being of service through Human Resources and teaching at the college level. She has received the National American Indian Business Advisor of the Year Award (AIBL), along with other academic, business and volunteer recognitions. After losing her husband to cancer five years ago, she decided to continue on their dream of moving to Alaska. Also, Rebecca loves to fish, and would welcome any fishing advice you may want to give her!  Please join me in welcoming Rebecca to YKHC!
