In order to support staffing levels and patient care, Bethel-based employees who test positive for COVID-19 and have no symptoms or have mild symptoms that are improving, must call contact tracing at 907-543-6420 to arrange to get re-tested with a Binax test on day 5.

All re-testing appointments are at the drive-through testing site across the street from the hospital, in the CHSB parking lot, between 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday (not at the hospital.)

If the employee tests negative on day 5, they should contact their manager and return to work on day 6.

If they are positive on day 5, they should complete the 10-day quarantine, and—as long as the employee’s symptoms are improving and the employee has not had a fever in the past 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medications)—the employee should return to work on day 11.
