Changes have been made to the following Medicaid Travel services:

Hostel: Starting August 29, the hostel will be locking the front door at 7 P.M. Please, if possible, call before sending over patients to ensure we have a room available. This way the hostel can also keep a look out for our guest. Guests will have to knock on the front door and one of the hostel techs will verify the guest and then let them in. This process has been on going except the doors were locked at 10 P.M. Due to recent incidents we are now locking at 7 P.M. for other guest and staff safety.

Patient Travel: Effective August 29, our YKPay Travel Line 907-543-6360 will be merged with what is known as our Medicaid Travel Line 907-543-6625. We will now have one Patient Travel Line for either type of travel which will be 907-543-6625.

Medicaid Vouchers: All departments who write out Medicaid Vouchers need to be using the State Medicaid Vouchers no later than September 30, 2019. The State of Alaska will not accept any TVCC vouchers after October 1. This means if you are writing vouchers and the travel extends into October you need to be using the new vouchers. This information was sent out in June of 2019.
