As the holiday season comes to an end and we begin the new year, it is an important time to refocus our priorities and concentrate on the safety of ourselves and our team.

Use the following tips to ensure that you are helping to create a culture of safety in our organization.

• Keep your mind on the job. Being distracted leads to mistakes which can result in injury to yourself or your team
• Stay healthy. Ensure that you are getting enough sleep and rest, keeping well hydrated and avoiding excess alcohol
• Report all hazards and near-misses. Reporting hazards enables us to fix problems and prevent injuries.  If you see something, say something
