Bethel high school students learn about healthcare careers during hospital tour

A group of Bethel Regional High School (BRHS) students spent half a day at our hospital, touring and talking to health professionals, interviewing them and gaining insights into their career interests.

Students interviewed nurses, medical lab technicians, diabetes educators, and staff from quality control who all shared key aspects of their respective roles at YKHC.

The students and instructor, Carlo Mandras, were grateful for the support of YKHC Nurse Educator/ ER Nurse Manager Nancy Haker and the group of health professionals who took time out of their busy schedules to be interviewed by the students; including John Morris, Liz Lee, Beth Tressler, Luis Herebia, Jessica Pew, and Sharon Carter.
