Please join me in welcoming Lauren Rabi to her new role as the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital Specialty Care Administrator.

In her new role, she will be administering the following departments: audiology, therapy services, dental, optometry, diabetes, WIC and tobacco cessation. Lauren has over seven years working with YKHC and will work with Brian Lefferts and myself to ensure a smooth transition into this new role.

Here’s a bit more about Lauren: “I moved to Bethel in 2016 with my husband, Shadi Rabi. I started at YKHC as the Front Desk Supervisor in dental and since then have worked as the Dental Case Manager and Dental Office Manager. In these various roles I have learned so much about the Yukon-Kuskokwim Region and have always put patient care as my biggest priority. I look forward to working with staff to help them achieve their department goals along with YKHC’s goals and continuing to improve patient care. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, traveling (anywhere warm!) and camping! “
