Safety Message: ID badges improve safety, professionalism and customer relations

YKHC requires all employees to wear their IC badge when at work. Badges help improve safety, professionalism and customer relations. Here’s how!

  1. Security

·         First, the most obvious reason to use ID badges is to enhance the security of YKHC. Ensuring that only authorized individuals are in patient care areas or other sensitive areas.

·         Employee IDs serve as a form of instant identification for everyone in the building.

·         ID badge can also be used to restrict access to certain areas. This not only will protect our staff; it will also protect any sensitive information YKHC may have stored on site.

2.       Professionalism

·         IDs are meant to be visible and displayed throughout the duration of the workday.

·         Remind all staff to wear their ID badge.

3.       Customer Relations

·         Being able to put a name and position to a face can boost customer confidence.

·         An ID is a quick way for your customers to be able to verify that the person they’re talking to has the power to help them with whatever it is they need.

·         This allows your customers to quickly and easily build lasting relationships with employees
