The global health pandemic was declared over on May 11, 2023, so the Employee Masking in the Workplace Standard Operating Process (SOP) was updated by Ellen Hodges, Chief of Staff and Elizabeth Bates, Infection Prevention Physician.

The primary change is that masks are recommended, not required, for patient contacts, unless required by the infection prevention and control policy.
