The Alaska State troopers are hosting a 5K run/walk and are inviting all of Bethel to participate on April 30th, starting at the Lions Club at 1 p.m.

The event is being hosted to provide an opportunity to engage children and provide an inclusive running experience to believe in themselves and lead an active, healthy lifestyle. Troopers are counting on community support to encourage runners and walkers of all ages to join.

Runners are asked to join at least 15 minutes early to prepare.
