The YKHC Immunization Department gives a big shout out to Registered Nurse Christie Andy and Medical Support Technician II Jerilyn Slats for the work they did calling, scheduling, and vaccinating pediatric patients in Nightmute on a visit during the week of February 8 to 12, 2021. Christie accompanied Dr. Lisa Rotelli for the week long trip. Keeping up to date on childhood vaccinations is very important and Christie gave 110 vaccination shots that week. Covid-19 has made the work of keeping up to date on vaccinations more difficult but their team made clinic visits safe and the community safer with their skills.
