BENEFITS: 403b maximum deferral is $19,500

The Internal Revenue Service has announced that for the calendar year 2021, the 403b deferral maximum for employees under 50 will be maxed again at $19,500.

The Internal Revenue Service just announced that the calendar year 2021, the 403b deferral maximum for employees under 50 will be maxed again at $19,500. The 403b ‘catch up’ limit for 2021, again, is maxed at $6,500.00.  This means if you are eligible to use the ‘catch up’, you may set aside a total of $26,000.00 in calendar year 2021. if you are turning 50 in 2021, or are 50 and older in 2021, you may want to think taking advantage of the ‘catch up’ opportunity.
