This caring lady, Evangeline Phillip (on the right), recently completed her recertification as a Community Health Practitioner in her home village of Akiachak.  She demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills throughout the testing and clinical evaluation.  She is methodical in her work.  She conducts a thorough chart review before each encounter, paying close attention to their immunization status, recent antibiotic use, and relevant health concerns.  She collects history information with great detail.  Her exam skills are proficient and accurate.  She uses excellent judgment in all aspects of her work, using standing orders and consulting with Bethel providers as appropriate.  Having served her community for 17 years (since 2002) she is a great example of the capable, reliable, and reassuring presence our village residents depend on.  Quyana caknek Evangeline for your hard work and commitment to improve the health status of your community.
