Did you know that we have a Steering Committee that is dedicated to our Lean journey? This steering committee has senior leaders as well as management on the team. This team is responsible for guiding the Lean transformation efforts throughout the company. This team focuses on four key areas:
- Philosophy – systems and processes are patient centered, waste free, safe and of high quality
- People – develop employees to sustain and drive Lean efforts into the future
- Process – align and address systems structures to support patient, provider, visitor and other flows impacting service delivery
- Problem Solving – drive problem solving based in the scientific method and model standard work
