With the introduction of Alaska Airlines’ Club 49 and Freight For Less programs, the airline is changing the discounts offered to YKHC employees. Effective November 30, 2018, YKHC employees will no longer be able to ship and receive discounted freight rates using YKHC corporate discount codes. Instead, employees have the option to enroll in Alaska Airlines’ Club 49 program, a frequent flyer program for Alaska residents. Through the Club 49 program, any YKHC employee that is an Alaska resident can access freight benefits through Freight for Less. Freight for Less offers two types of shipping benefits: $10 for up to 100 pounds benefit To receive the benefit rate of one shipment of $10 for up to 100 pounds, you must present, in person, at the time of payment, a valid boarding pass for no more than 24 hours prior to the purchased departure date, proof of Club 49 membership, and a valid government issued photo ID. Cargo may only be shipped within the state of Alaska, and to the same destination to which the guest is traveling. Day of travel benefit rate allows one (1) shipment per eligible traveler, per one-way trip. $40 for up to 100 pounds benefit To redeem the benefit rate of $40 for up to 100 pounds, you must present, in person, at the time of tender, proof of Club 49 membership, and a valid government issued photo ID. Cargo may only be shipped within the state of Alaska. This benefit allows one (1) shipment per eligible Club 49 member, per day. Questions about Club 49 benefits? Contact Alaska Airlines.
