2023 Napartet Strategies posters should be posted in each department

Every team should have the Napartet Strategies poster prominently posted in their area. These strategies—Health Community, Healthy People, Corporate Capability and Culture, Care Delivery, and COVID-19 Response—are the long-term visions we want to accomplish as an organization. These are our corporate strategies for achieving our mission of Working Together to Achieve Excellent Health and our vision Through Native self-determination and culturally relevant health systems, we strive to be the healthiest people. 

Each tactic under the strategies is the short-term objective for how we will achieve each strategy. These are all reviewed annually by Senior Leaders and our Board of Directors. They use the feedback provided during the annual Tribal Unity Gathering to shape our organization’s priorities. This is part of a process called strategic planning.

Alignment is at the heart of the strategic planning process. In the new year, we are all setting goals for what needs to be accomplished in 2023. Our performance evaluations define personal goals for what we will accomplish this upcoming year. Strategic alignment encompasses the cascaded goal setting and initiatives prioritized by leadership and frontline staff. Performance goals are checked to align with organizational strategies and tactics to ensure that we are all working towards the organization’s objectives and supporting the mission and vision.  

Each team needs to ensure they have their poster on their Visual Boards. Communication of set goals is imperative to ensure that everyone understands our priorities and that we are working together towards the same target. Departmental plans and objectives connect to our organization’s strategies as we work together to achieve excellent health.
