2022 Insurance Open Enrollment

The purpose of Open Enrollment is to allow Regular Full-Time and Regular Part-Time employees with benefits to make changes to their current insurance coverages such as health, vision, dental and supplemental insurances (i.e. Critical Illness, Accident & Hospital indemnity, Optional Life) and to re-enroll in Flexible Savings Accounts (Medical and Child Care).  Changes during the Open Enrollment period may include adding or deleting dependents from plans, moving from one plan type to another, or to elect benefits if you did not previously enroll.  Employees that do not want to make changes to current coverages do not need to re-enroll.

We are beginning a passive enrollment strategy this year.  Passive enrollment is a benefits strategy that employers use to simplify benefits enrollment and maintain benefits participation.  We will simply roll over each employee’s benefit elections from this year into the next year unless the employee indicates they want to make changes to current coverages.

Open Enrollment began Tuesday, November 9th and will run through December 10, 2021. Date of coverage and new premium rates will be effective January 1, 2022.

Contact the HR Benefits Staff for any questions or to inquire about your current insurance coverages. Please do not call Human Resources front desk or Payroll with questions.

You can find the election forms here and the summary of benefits here.

HR’s benefit staff is Tamera Medley, Benefits Manager (907) 543-6096 and Nellie Carroll, Benefits Specialist (907) 543-6223
