To continue ensuring the safety of YKHC staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, YKHC is committed to a symptom-free workplace. A symptom-free workplace means employees who feel any symptoms of flu, cold, COVID-19 or any other upper respiratory illnesses need to stay home from work.

If you are experiencing these symptoms, stay home from work and get tested for COVID-19. You should remain at home until symptoms subside, with or without a negative COVID-19 test result. 

This still applies if you work in a secluded area, remain masked while at work, or are vaccinated.

Employees who stay home due to these symptoms will need to use personal leave. Because YKHC has formally ended teleworking due to the pandemic and in fairness to all staff, employees will not be able to work from home if they are home due to feeling unwell.
