YKHC’s Senior Leadership Team knows that every day staff have great ideas about how to make YKHC a better place. Now there’s a quick and easy way to submit your idea for consideration.

On the main page of the YKHC intranet  (https://intranet.ykhc.org/), you will see an icon for “Great Ideas Input”. Click on this icon to get to an extremely short form where you can submit your well-considered idea. 

In your submission, please explain your idea and how it will help us as we are “Working Together to Achieve Excellent Health.”   For example, your idea might achieve any of the following:

• Improve customer service or reduce wait times
• Increase productivity or save money
• Improve daily work activities
• Provide better policies, procedures, or management practices
• Make YKHC a better place to work

The form offers a place to leave your name and contact information if you would like follow up (or recognition if your idea is implemented!) Entering your name will also make it easier for someone to contact you to clarify your idea, if needed.

Ideas will be reviewed every two weeks for viability and impact. Of course, we cannot act on all submissions – but all ideas will be reviewed and we will share when an idea is implemented.
