The first career fair for 2024 will take place in the Blueberry conference room at the hospital in Bethel on Thursday, April 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We will be joining forces with academic and community partners spanning industries to showcase our individual and collective programs and services and to highlight career, education, and training options available in our community.

YKHC has 20 different job categories and hundreds of open positions that serve 58 tribes, in addition to educational and training opportunities. Department managers are encouraged to get a head start on determining what vacant positions they would like to highlight and prioritize openings in order of need, order table coverings and swag to giveaway (if you have the budget for it.)

This is also an excellent opportunity to review your vacant positions that may require revision of job descriptions, etc. and try to find answers as to why some vacancies remain unfilled for an extended amount of time.

The mix of myriad YKHC departments and our community and academic partners, along with prospective hires and curious minds ready to launch the next phase of their careers and/or education will make this an event to look forward to!
