YKHC’s Lean transformation efforts continue with a new Lean A3 Tracking Tool to capture your department’s major initiatives in a summary form. This simplified template asks a few key questions which will be required on your large/significant A3 endeavors.

On the main page of the YKHC intranet  (https://intranet.ykhc.org/), you will see an icon for “Lean A3 Input”. Click on this icon to access a summary form with a few key components:

• The title of your A3 Initiative    
• The problem you will solve       
• Proposed solution, approach, or target condition
• How do we measure success, and what data will be tracked
• What’s the next step and what’s the target date

This Lean A3 Tracking tool will send you reminders as your next step target date approaches and notify Senior Leadership of your progress.
