Dogs, cats and even ferrets (accompanied by their owners) are invited to attend a free rabies vaccination clinic this Saturday, May 8, in the parking lot in front of the Community Health Services Building (CHSB), across the street from the hospital.

This is a drive-through clinic. Please wear your mask. 

Rabies is always present at low levels in the YK region’s fox population and recently YKHC identified three foxes with rabies on the Delta, including one in Bethel. If untreated, the rabies virus is fatal to humans and unvaccinated pets.

Protect your pets by making sure they are up-to-date on their rabies vaccine.
