May 6 is Florence Nightingale’s birthday and annually kicks off National Nurses Week. 

Just as she was known as the “lady with the lamp” for shining the light with ways to improve patient care, this past year every one of our nurses has been shining. This has undoubtedly been one of the toughest years to be a nurse. Nurses—Thank you for all you have done; your hard work, sacrifices, and dedication have helped give our patients the care they have needed! You are an amazing team working in one of the most trusted professions!

Our Nurses Week celebration will include our traditional Nurses’ Week poster, a nursing pin, and some surprise goodies! We will be celebrating with our Chief Nurse John Morris and sharing these gifts in the near future. Stay tuned, nurses!
